Corian® is an advanced blend of natural minerals and acrylic polymer. The colour palette includes now over 100 solutions, able to meet any need in terms of aesthetics and style.
Corian® is manufactured in the form of sheets and shapes (sinks and washbasins). The sheets are precut into specific lengths at the factories and then shipped to a worldwide network of distributors and fabricators. DuPont offers today a range of 17 sink and 7 washbasin shapes in Corian®.

Sheets

Corian® is manufactured by DuPont in the form of sheets and pre-formed shapes.

The sheets are produced on continuous casting lines. All the colours of Corian® are available in 3,658mm length, 760mm width and 12mm thickness. A number of colours are also available in 2,490mm length, 760mm width and 6mm thickness. Other widths and lengths are available by special request and require a minimum order quantity.

Sinks and Washbasins

DuPont offers a range of 13 sink and 4 washbasin shapes in Corian®. These shapes are produced by polymerization inside metal moulds, using a continuous manufacturing process. The range consists of sinks for the kitchen (small single, large single and double) and a range of washbasins for the bathroom, designed for both home and commercial environments. Available in a selection of colours of Corian®, the shapes can be used to complement any design.

Corian® sinks and washbasins can be seamlessly joined beneath a countertop in a matching or contrasting colour of Corian®, creating a homogenous design with no jarring notes. Non-porous, hard-wearing and stain- and moisture-resistant, sinks and washbasins in Corian® are hygienic and easy to clean, and will look like new for years to come. If minor cuts or scratches do occur, these are easy to remove.

Colours of Corian

Aiming to embody and to illustrate the spirit of the times within the decorative landscape, the extensive colour palette for DuPont™ Corian® is continually evolving. The development process has included workshop seminars with the design community, as well as consultation with experts such as Pantone.

Dark, heavily pigmented Colours of Corian®, will show scratches, dust and ordinary wear and tear more readily than lighter, textured colours. We recommend that these colours not be used in applications where the surface is exposed to heavy use and contact (i.e. worktops). These colours are most suitable for applications where surface contact is light and for use as inlays and accent colours.
